“Reconciliation - an Easter Message”

Reverend Tanya Wyldflower comments, “Today is Easter Sunday and a powerful part of the Easter message is a demonstration of reconciliation. To reconcile is to unite, reconciliation leads to restoration back to harmony and right order. How does the Easter story show us the path back to wholeness and release from the suffering of separation? Join us in a story of rebirth.”❤️

“What’s Not to Love?!”

Rev Ruth comments, “This month we are exploring the theme of acceptance. In the teaching of Oneness, the practice of acceptance is unremitting. We could ask, who or what can I not accept? This takes us on a path of expanding and inclusion. Or we can dive deeper and ask, ‘Who or what is really having the problem.”

On this Palm Sunday, let us return to our true, original home.❤️

Tuning into Source - Accepting What Isn’t…

As Licensed Spiritual Practitioner Jade Aldrich says, “Often times acceptance of the things that are loving, wonderful and good flow naturally from within us. But what about accepting what isn’t desired that shows up in life? Where to we turn to soften into unconditional acceptance of things exactly as they are?”

Join Jade on her talk of exploration of self, and the practice of Turning to Source as the one infinite answer. ❤️

3 Paths to Acceptance

Exploring Acceptance

Reverend Tanya comments, “It has been said that the state of acceptance is one of the highest forms of consciousness possible. The serenity prayer encourages us to accept the things we cannot change and to have the courage to change the things we can, using wisdom to know the difference. This talk will explore the concept of acceptance.” ❤️

“Enough Already”

Reverend Ruth Barnhart comments, “We are approaching approaching the one year mark of being ‘sheltered in place’. How do we embrace life wholeheartedly if we can’t even embrace our families? Where do we find our love and joy? Stay tuned…” ❤️

Wholeheartedness

Reverend Tanya comments, “What is it to be whole hearted? It is said that the heartbeat of the Universe is at the center of every living soul and the Presence of God within us waits patiently for our recognition. What would life be like if we believed that there is in the heart of every person, an open door toward the eternal and through that open door the messages of Divine Wisdom can come?”

MCSL Membership Meeting, Jan 31, 2021

Reverend Tanya comments, “Every year our MCSL membership is asked to attend our annual membership meeting. At our Membership meeting, we will celebrate last year’s accomplishments, review board actions and look forward to the future events! By attending you assist us to maintain our non-profit status by forming a quorum to vote on the board actions of 2020 and discuss the board actions proposed for 2021 and give feedback to our MCSL Board of Trustees. In this way you help maintain our life-transforming mission.”

Reverend Ruth comments, “It’s a new year and people are ready for change. The resolutions have been made, intentions set, vision boards created. Now what? How do we start over and create a better life? Or do we? A new take on the new year.”

MCSL Sunday Celebration, Nov 29, 2020

Reverend Tanya comments: “One of the best spiritual tools for uplifting the spirit and acknowledging the presence of Spirit is making a gratitude list. Giving thanks is a consciousness which expresses our complete acceptance and receptivity of our good ~ that which is already present and already ours ~ so that we receive the fullness of the gifts of life.

Eric Butterworth writes that thanksgiving is not just a reactionary emotion, it is a causative energy. God doesn’t “need” our thanks, but it does make a difference to us. It is a state of consciousness that keeps us in tune with the Divine flow.”

“I give thanks and I’m filled with appreciation, for the gifts I receive from life, every moment.”

MCSL Sunday Celebration, Nov 22, 2020

Reverend Ruth comments: “It is said that change is the only constant. We depend on it when we are praying for a healing or to have a greater or new experience. At the same time, we look to life to be consistent and to remain as it is, when we are enjoying what is before us.

When we are struggling, it so often feels like we are unable to see or even believe in change. So what is our role in this process of transitions? How do we bring them about or just deal with them as they unfold? ”
