Christmas Candlelighting Service
This Sunday, December 25th is Christmas Day and at 11am, following the 10:30 meditation, Reverend Tanya Wyldflower will offer a music filled Sunday as we celebrate the birth of the Christ Light with a candle lighting ceremony and well known Christmas Carols to sing along together. It will be a music filled joyous celebration of the Christ Light within, honoring the example of our brother, Jeshua Ben Joseph as a Light Bearer of the Christ.” ❤️

Reverend Ruth Barnhart will speak on “Looking for a Sign. The questions: 'how to navigate our lives, what to do, how to make the right decisions, how to know the direction that will take us to a healthier, happier life' confront us all. And then there is the concern for our world that weighs heavy on many minds and hearts. How do we find what is ours to do to live our best lives, to give our gifts and to contribute to our shared existence. It all can be a little daunting if not totally overwhelming. Are there really signs that direct us, a higher power that leads the way?” ❤️

Gratitude Tree Ceremony
Reverend Tanya Wyldflower and Rainah Dancing Waters will conduct our annual Gratitude Tree Ceremony where we write out on a tag what we are grateful for and place it on our Gratitude Tree. At least once a year it is wise to consider what it is in our lives that we wish to give thanks for. I’ve been thinking about all the support and assistance our Center receives every day, given freely from the hearts and souls of our members. Our Center is a member run Center, comprised mostly of volunteers and a few people who get paid a very small amount to do a very great deal of service for us. I have found that when we give to an idea larger than ourselves, we receive more than we give, always. It appears we cannot out give the Universe! ❤️

The Grate and the Grateful
Sally Wells will examine “Gratefulness.” She comments, “There is One Great Power which gives of Itself as all Existence—It is our very Being. Everything is full of Great-ness. We are the Great-full. Realizing this—embodying this— This is the opportunity of a lifetime”. ❤️
Gratefulness From a New Thought Perspective
George D’Amato will examine “Gratefulness” from a 'New Thought' perspective. Just where does it fall? Is it emotion, a state of being or a spiritual call? ❤️
“Day of the Dead Honoring Ceremony”
Reverend Tanya Wyldflower will conduct a special CandleLighting Ceremony, accompanied by Rainah Dancing Water and Jason Greenberg, in honor of the Day of the Dead, for all who have transitioned from this earth life. Members of all faith communities (or None) are welcome to attend this special day to honor those who have gone on before us. Feel welcome to bring a picture or item for the altar to remember the departed for this Celebration of Life.” ❤️
“The Trap of Belief”
Reverend Ruth Barnhart asks, “What does it mean to surrender and what exactly are we surrendering? What of loss of control or not getting what we desire, don’t we get a say? Is there a Divine Presence that has our backs? How do I know what is mine or not? It all can seem too much and yet it is so simple.” ❤️

As Sally Wells notes, “We tend to identify ourselves by what we do, or what roles we’ve taken on in life, sometimes determined by outside sources. This can keep us from living fully as the powerfully creative spiritual beings we are. Honoring our truth at a deeper level opens us to limitless possibilities, freedom of choice, and personal integrity. Are you ready to honor the “who” that is truly you?” ❤️

Exploring this month’s theme of surrender, Licensed Practitioner Graduate, Sylvia Gilmour says: “Defining surrender as ceasing resistance to an opponent and submitting to their authority can feel threatening and disempowering. Yet surrender also means accepting that we don’t have to fight our way through life and deliberately deciding to align with the Divine for guidance and support in each moment. When a challenge arises, we can ‘God It’. ❤️
