Taking care, Being Care

Reveren. Ruth Barnhart, CSL Minister of Santa Rosa, asks:  “Do I have to take care of myself in order to care for others? Is caring for myself a selfish act? Where is the balance, how do I know when I am neglecting myself or neglecting caring for others in my world?  Is it possible that the spiritual life is about sacrificing ourselves in order to love and serve our world?  Is there a road map, a list of things to do?  Let’s explore the meaning of “love your neighbor as yourself.”
